Warehouse Supervisor - Pharmaceutical Products

About the role

A pharmaceutical distributor in Bulawayo is looking for a full-time Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations for pharmaceutical products. The role covers receiving, storage and dispatch while ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage and dispatch of pharmaceutical products.
• Ensure compliance with GDP and GMP, and enforce adherence to pharmaceutical laws, safety standards and company SOPs.
• Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas and cold rooms to protect product quality.
• Keep the Dangerous Drug Room locked at all times.
• Prepare documentation for inspections and audits.
• Manage and train warehouse staff on handling sensitive pharmaceutical products; allocate tasks, monitor performance and maintain attendance and overtime records.
• Foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technician.
• 3-5 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical distribution or warehouse setting.
• Strong leadership skills.
