About the role

The Rainbow Tourism Group is seeking a diligent Stores Clerk to join its Finance department at the Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel. The role involves managing inventory, handling supplier deliveries, and ensuring the storeroom operates efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive goods from suppliers and verify deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stores records and update inventory logs.
• Dispatch goods to internal departments as required.
• Participate in regular stock takes and audits.
• Keep storerooms clean and organized.
• Maintain required par levels for all stock items.
• Secure and manage returnable containers within the storeroom.

Required profile

• National Certificate in Purchasing and Supply or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement or store management.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
• Unquestionable integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the ACCPAC accounting system.
