Sales Representative – Airline Sales

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking an ambitious Sales Representative to expand its presence in the Zimbabwean market. You will own a portfolio of travel‑trade and corporate customers, build strong relationships, and turn market opportunities into measurable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue and commercial targets.
• Manage and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business prospects.
• Build trusted partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients and other commercial partners.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer potential to prioritise opportunities.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline and drive opportunities from engagement to conversion.
• Negotiate commercial agreements aligning customer needs with Etihad’s objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Etihad partners to create tailored solutions.
• Keep customers informed of products, services and promotions.
• Record accurate activity in Etihad’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in sales, account management or business development.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Experience in airline sales is preferred; travel industry or high‑performing B2B sales backgrounds are also considered.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
