Sales Representative – Fresh Fruits and Vegetables

About the role

A sales representative is needed in Harare to market and sell fresh fruits and vegetables to customers. The role covers building new business, maintaining client relationships, taking orders and following up on deliveries and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Market and sell fresh fruits and vegetables to customers.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers.
• Take customer orders and follow up on deliveries and payments.
• Promote the company's products to supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, wholesalers, retailers and other potential customers.
• Monitor market trends, customer preferences and competitor activity.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and provide regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fruit and vegetable sales, agricultural products or related sales is an advantage.
• Hardworking, energetic and target-driven.
• Valid driver's licence is an added advantage.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify and attract new customers.
• Good customer service and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
