Regional Marketing Supervisor

About the role

A Regional Marketing Supervisor is needed in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The role covers meeting sales targets, growing the company's book across market segments and sourcing new corporate business, while also managing and developing a team of marketing agents.

Key responsibilities

• Meet planned sales targets within the region and grow the company's book across all market segments
• Sourcing new corporate business and maintaining positive customer relations and retention
• Undertake market research and intelligence activities
• Manage and coordinate sales agents, driving their performance through reviews and capacity development
• Provide administrative support to the region and handle customer queries on funeral cover types, policy upgrades and amendments
• Upsell and cross-sell to existing customers and obtain referrals to expand the sales pipeline
• Collect premiums and ensure all money is banked correctly and on time
• Work with Human Resources to recruit, select and discipline marketing agents

Required profile

• First degree in Marketing or Business Studies from a recognised university
• At least five years of proven experience in sales and leadership (mandatory)
• Experience leading teams is an added advantage
