Branch Operations Manager - Beitbridge

About the role

Korridor is looking for a Branch Operations Manager for its Beitbridge branch. The role manages, oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the branch, fosters a positive team environment and ensures excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide training, coaching, development and motivation for employees, and manage Branch Leaders and Branch Assistants, including relationship management with Zim borders
• Direct all operational aspects such as distribution, customer service and administration in line with branch objectives
• Manage and allocate company funds so they always balance, and ensure cash received and collected from the bank is loaded onto the system
• Oversee orders and transactions completed by Branch Leaders and Assistants, and ensure operating procedures are followed
• Identify areas for improvement, propose corrective actions, and address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Build client relationships, stay aware of competing markets and report on market movement and penetration
• Enforce company policies and productivity standards, and ensure a safe, secure and legal work environment
• Handle overtime approvals, leave, disciplinary matters, grievances and time and attendance monitoring
• Conduct daily office inspections and resolve customer complaints or queries

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Management or Commerce, or equivalent; additional courses are advantageous
• 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role
• Experience in banking or retail management preferred
• Knowledge of industry laws and regulations
