About the role
The Mission Support Supervisor provides multi‑function facilities services to support the Church’s mission in Harare, Zimbabwe. Reporting directly to the mission president, this role ensures that missionary housing, transportation and related facilities operate smoothly and meet the needs of the mission.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate with the mission president to identify and fulfill facility requirements.
- Negotiate and manage apartment leases, renewals and vendor contracts.
- Conduct bi‑annual maintenance inspections of missionary apartments.
- Oversee mission drivers and home attendants.
- Scope and supervise building renovation projects.
- Anticipate upcoming mission needs and lead moderately complex projects.
- Perform duties of direct reports as needed and handle additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of relevant experience, higher‑education, or progress toward an industry‑recognized certification.
- Previous leadership experience in a work setting.
- Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints and currently temple worthy.
