About the role

La Foi Designs is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our on‑site team in Harare. You will play a key part in constructing, installing, repairing and finishing wooden elements that complement our innovative stretch‑ceiling solutions for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce precise wood structures.
• Measure, cut, assemble and finish wood components using hand and power tools.
• Perform framing and finish carpentry tasks with a focus on quality and detail.
• Collaborate with designers and other tradespeople to deliver custom ceiling designs.
• Maintain a safe and organized worksite, adhering to all safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven proficiency in carpentry, including measuring, cutting and assembling wood.
• Experience operating power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Strong problem‑solving, time‑management and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy materials and work in varied positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or carpentry certifications are preferred.
