Senior Business Analyst – Remote

About the role

Uwezo Business Consultants is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work remotely with its diverse client base. In this full‑time position you will partner with clients and internal teams to translate business objectives into actionable, data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder workshops to elicit, document, and validate detailed business requirements.
• Analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and propose improvement opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
• Prepare functional specifications, process maps, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Support development and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet requirements.
• Create reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to methodology and best‑practice development.
• Assist with change‑management and user‑adoption activities.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Proven experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying technical and business concepts.
• Background in business process analysis, mapping, and optimization.
• Experience in consulting or client‑facing project environments.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CBAP, PMI‑PBA) are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities.
