Teller / Sales Representative

About the role

The Teller/Sales Representative will serve as the front‑line contact for merchants and customers in Chirundu, handling cash transactions and promoting the company’s financial services. This role combines traditional teller duties with proactive sales activities to grow the merchant base.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash deposits, withdrawals and other banking transactions accurately.
• Sell company products and stock to existing and prospective merchants.
• Educate merchants about the benefits of the services offered.
• Provide assistance and problem‑solving support to merchants as needed.
• Maintain daily cash balance and adhere to cash‑management policies.
• Report directly to the Managing Director and follow any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in cash handling or a similar banking environment.
• Diploma in Business or a related field.
• Flexible, self‑driven, patient and humble attitude.
• Clean criminal and employment record with high integrity.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
