Marketing & Sales Specialist (On-site, Harare)

About the role

ChatCash is an AI‑powered conversational commerce platform that turns messaging apps like WhatsApp and Instagram into fully automated digital storefronts. We are looking for an energetic Marketing & Sales Specialist in Zimbabwe to help local merchants automate sales, process payments natively, and build formal financial track records directly from their chats.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire merchants – pitch and onboard Zimbabwean SMEs, informal traders and social sellers operating on WhatsApp and Instagram.
• Drive adoption – run hands‑on demos showing merchants how to use AI to generate product catalogs, track inventory via voice notes, and automate 24/7 customer replies.
• Promote financial inclusion – educate business owners on how using ChatCash builds a digital transaction history, helping them unlock formal credit and banking services.
• Grow the ecosystem – build strong relationships with local trade groups and merchant communities to scale our footprint.

Required profile

• 2+ years of B2B sales, marketing or business development experience within Zimbabwe's fintech or e‑commerce sectors.
• Deep understanding of local retail behaviours, social commerce and mobile‑money ecosystems such as Ecocash and Airtel Money.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Ndebele and Shona to connect seamlessly with local merchants.
• Proactive, results‑driven mindset with a genuine passion for empowering small businesses.
