Wealth Management Trainee (Financial Advisor)

About the role

deVere Group is seeking two ambitious graduates to join its Wealth Management Trainee Programme in Bulawayo. As a trainee financial advisor you will receive structured in‑house and online training, mentorship and exposure to international financial markets, preparing you for a long‑term career in wealth management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior advisers in preparing client proposals and investment recommendations.
• Participate in client meetings to develop relationship‑building skills.
• Complete all training modules and obtain required certifications.
• Support the team with market research and analysis of investment solutions.
• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professionalism, accountability and a commercial mindset.
• Willingness to learn, high work ethic and confidence when speaking with clients.
• Any client‑facing experience (banking, sales, hospitality, etc.) is advantageous but not mandatory.
