Quantity Surveyor Internship – Construction Cost Management

About the role

Join Martcosy Construction as a Quantity Surveyor Intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting cost‑related activities across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects. You will work on‑site in Ruwa, collaborating with engineers and site managers to ensure accurate measurement, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for ongoing projects.
• Support cost planning, budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
• Contribute to cost control and cost reporting, monitoring project expenditures.
• Update and maintain financial records and project cost databases.
• Work closely with engineers and site managers to verify measurements and documentation.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials and project workflows.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a site‑based team.

Required skills

• Familiarity with quantity surveying or estimation software (advantageous).
