Product Manager - Cards & Payments

About the role

A full-time Product Manager position in Harare, Zimbabwe, focused on cards and payments. The role drives performance reporting and analytics for card issuing and acquiring, generates customer insights to improve card usage and wallet positioning, and supports business cases for new products and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive performance reporting and analytics for card issuing and acquiring
• Generate customer insights to improve card usage and top-of-wallet positioning
• Identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation
• Support business cases for new products and initiatives
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments
• Develop pricing and profitability models to support sustainable revenue growth
• Strengthen relationships with Visa, Mastercard and other industry partners
• Support a seamless, customer-centric payments experience across the Group

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a related field
• At least five years' experience in Cards & Payments, Product Management, Banking or a related financial services role
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, profitability modelling and performance management
• Strong understanding of card issuing, card acquiring, payment schemes and interchange economics

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with large datasets
• Data visualisation tools such as Power BI and Tableau
