Client Service Consultant – Funeral Services

About the role

We are seeking a professional, empathetic Client Service Consultant to join our Funeral Service branch. The role combines front‑office reception duties with administrative support, ensuring clients receive accurate information and compassionate assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome clients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate service points.
• Respond to enquiries, providing accurate details on products and services.
• Verify claims, capture customer data, and maintain up‑to‑date records.
• Prepare routine reports, letters, and other administrative documents.
• Process payments, issue receipts, and manage petty‑cash records.
• Support purchasing and branch administrative activities.
• Safeguard and manage records of clients' personal effects and facilitate handover to authorized family members.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Escalate complaints, payment issues, and operational concerns as needed.
• Provide general administrative and reception support to the branch.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Customer Service, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in customer service, administration or front‑office operations; funeral services experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations with empathy.
