Business Development Representative – Mining Technology

About the role

This outbound Business Development Representative position focuses on the mining sector across Africa. You will generate new opportunities, qualify prospects, and arrange meetings for senior Business Development Managers. No prior mining experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research prospective mining companies throughout Africa.
• Build and maintain prospect lists using CRM systems.
• Conduct outbound phone calls and email campaigns to engage decision‑makers.
• Qualify sales opportunities against established criteria.
• Schedule meetings for senior Business Development Managers.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and activity logs.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams and meet weekly/monthly activity targets.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organised with great attention to detail.
