Bookkeeper (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

This full-time, on-site Bookkeeper position in Harare is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare and update monthly and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors or accountants as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide timely financial information for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in a bookkeeping or junior accounting role, preferably in a small‑to‑medium business.
• Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and solid organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly with non‑finance colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and journal entries.
