Executive Dean of Student Affairs

About the role

The University seeks an Executive Dean of Student Affairs to lead the Student Affairs Division for a three‑year fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Pro Vice Chancellor Academic Affairs and Administration, the Dean will shape policies, oversee support services, and promote student wellbeing across multiple campuses.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direction and supervision to all units and coordinators within the Student Affairs Division.
• Enforce university policies that foster a conducive learning and extracurricular environment.
• Develop collaborative relationships with campus administrators, faculty, and community leaders to implement strategic initiatives.
• Lead the analysis, creation, and interpretation of student policies and procedures.
• Oversee the general welfare of students and nurture positive behaviours that reflect the university’s values.
• Communicate effectively with students and stakeholders, fostering an inclusive community.
• Pursue partnerships with donors and sponsors to benefit the university.

Required profile

• Master’s degree holder.
• Minimum five years of experience in a university or higher‑education setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead across multi‑campus operations and harmonise systems.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, policy development, and management skills.
• Passion for working with students of all ages and commitment to equity and inclusion.
