Mathematics Content Developer (Cambridge Curriculum, ESL Focus)

About the role

We are looking for freelance Mathematics Content Developers to create structured, ESL‑friendly lesson materials aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. The work supports a flipped‑classroom model where students first engage with self‑study resources before joining live, teacher‑led sessions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop lesson‑level mathematics content based on provided curriculum objectives and lesson structures.
• Create self‑study materials (20‑25 min) that introduce concepts, include clear explanations, guided examples, step‑by‑step solutions, short practice tasks, and vocabulary support.
• Produce live‑class materials (55‑60 min) such as presentation outlines, practice exercises, problem‑solving tasks, discussion prompts, error‑analysis activities, and peer‑interaction tasks.
• Write ESL‑friendly explanations, examples, and practice tasks.
• Follow templates, formatting rules, and internal content standards.
• Revise materials based on feedback from the academic or content team.
• Provide answer keys or guidance notes where required.

Required profile

• Experience teaching mathematics or developing mathematics learning materials.
• Familiarity with Cambridge Mathematics at Primary and/or Lower Secondary level.
• Ability to align content to provided learning objectives.
• Experience supporting ESL learners or adapting content for English‑language study.
• Strong written English, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured templates.
• Comfort working independently and incorporating feedback.
