About the role

Morning Star Christian Academy is seeking a full‑time Chemistry Teacher to join its on‑site faculty in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will deliver engaging chemistry lessons that align with the school’s Biblically grounded curriculum and support students’ academic and spiritual growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver interactive chemistry lessons for secondary‑level students.
• Create detailed lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and promote deep understanding.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments and practical work, providing constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate interdisciplinary concepts, especially physics.
• Uphold and model the school’s faith‑based values in all classroom activities.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in chemistry education and solid knowledge of physics.
• Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum delivery.
• Excellent teaching and communication abilities for a diverse student body.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education or a related field.
• Prior experience teaching at the secondary school level is preferred.
• Commitment to the mission of a faith‑based educational environment.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to contribute to school objectives.
