About the role

Huawei Harare is seeking a Channel Sales Manager to drive revenue growth through the recruitment, development and management of a network of resellers in the assigned territory. The role focuses on building strong partner relationships, delivering solution‑focused sales, and achieving strategic sales targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Own channel revenue growth and retention within the designated region.
  • Develop and execute a channel partner sales plan, including recruitment, certification and enablement of new value‑added resellers.
  • Meet or exceed profitable sales volume targets and strategic objectives for partner accounts.
  • Collaborate with channel marketing to implement the channel program and coordinate lead‑generation activities.
  • Build executive‑level relationships with partners, conduct joint planning and set mutual performance goals.
  • Support partners in identifying opportunities, presenting Huawei enterprise services and solutions, and closing sales.
  • Manage potential channel conflicts by ensuring clear communication and adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Lead solution development efforts, coordinating internal and partner resources to meet end‑user needs.

Required profile

  • 5–10 years of channel sales experience in the ICT industry with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, onboard and grow reseller networks.
  • Strong capability to communicate technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience working with senior executives of partner organisations.
  • Self‑motivated individual contributor who can operate with minimal supervision.
