About the role
TechnoServe Zimbabwe is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant/Driver to support the Mutare office. The role combines office administration with reliable transportation duties to ensure smooth operations.
Key responsibilities
- Transport staff, fellows, officers and visitors safely to various locations and remain on standby for urgent dispatches.
- Deliver confidential documents to banks, embassies and government offices.
- Maintain, clean, service and refuel assigned vehicles and motorbikes.
- Assist with front‑office management, asset management and procurement.
- Support program managers by coordinating meetings with farmers and stakeholders.
Required profile
- Ability to work diplomatically with diverse people and provide excellent customer service.
- Highly organized, punctual and capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English and at least one local language (Shona or Ndebele).
- Integrity, honesty and strong teamwork orientation.
Required skills
- Valid Class 4 driver’s licence.
- Vehicle maintenance knowledge for cars and motorbikes.
