Funeral Consultant – End‑to‑End Service Specialist

About the role

The Funeral Consultant is responsible for coordinating and delivering end‑to‑end funeral services with professionalism, empathy and operational efficiency. You will work directly with bereaved families, helping them design funeral programmes while ensuring all procedures comply with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate funeral service quotations for clients.
• Negotiate terms and recommend appropriate funeral products.
• Provide emotional support and comfort to bereaved families.
• Assist families in developing customised funeral programmes.
• Ensure all funeral proceedings follow established operational procedures.
• Gather market information and process repatriations and expatriations.
• Capture client data in the system, verify claims and maintain records of personal effects.
• Hand over personal effects and clothing to family representatives.
• Monitor casket movements, estimate travel distances and arrange fuel requisitions.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in funeral services.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
