Finance Graduate Intern – Harare

About the role

The Finance Graduate Intern will join the Finance Team in Harare, reporting to the Finance Officer. This position offers hands‑on experience in cash management and client payment processing within an NGO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash operations, including receipting, banking, and petty‑cash maintenance and replenishment.
• Ensure all payments are signed, presented to the bank, and recorded accurately.
• Capture CP accounts and process payments to clients in line with AAZ financial management and accountability guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field from a recognised university with a good pass.
• At least one year of experience working in NGO finance.
• High level of integrity, initiative, and strong planning and organising abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision while contributing to a team.
• Sharp analytical skills and proficiency in English.
