About the role
Huawei Zimbabwe is seeking an experienced Wireless Network Engineer to join its team. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining wireless infrastructure for mobile networks, working closely with clients to deliver tailored solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to design customized wireless solutions.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure optimal network deployment.
- Install, configure, and maintain wireless equipment such as BTS, NodeB, BSC, and RNC.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot network issues, including cross‑feeder and RTWP problems.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wireless network engineering or maintenance (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR).
- Experience with Ericsson or Nokia equipment is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with network analysis tools.
- Programming knowledge in Python and C/C++ is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
