Front End Developer – Digital Banking & FinTech

About the role

ZB Financial Holdings is looking for an experienced Front End Developer to create and maintain responsive, high‑performance user interfaces for its digital banking, insurance and investment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain responsive front‑end applications for web, mobile and self‑service digital banking channels.
• Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes and prototypes into clean, reusable code.
• Integrate front‑end applications with APIs, micro‑services and back‑end systems.
• Ensure cross‑browser, cross‑device compatibility, performance and security best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging and code reviews to deliver maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Optimise applications for speed, scalability and responsiveness across devices.
• Contribute to component libraries, design systems and coding standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ front‑end development experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Demonstrated proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Angular or Vue.js).
• Experience integrating front‑end code with RESTful APIs and back‑end services.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
