SCADA Operator – Solar PV Power Plant

About the role

The SCADA Operator will monitor and control a solar photovoltaic power plant using the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system. The role focuses on real‑time performance monitoring, fault diagnosis, and ensuring reliable plant operation while complying with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day operations of the PV plant and associated electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Support scheduled preventive maintenance according to OEM guidelines and company standards.
• Troubleshoot alarms, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Track system availability, performance KPIs, and downtime; escalate major issues to the Plant Manager.
• Maintain accurate data logs and participate in toolbox talks, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify opportunities for performance improvements and reliability enhancements.
• Respond promptly to real‑time system alerts and communicate effectively with technical teams.
