Sales Specialist – Heavy Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Specialist to join Zoomlion’s Heavy Equipment division in Zimbabwe. The role focuses on promoting and selling agriculture, construction and mining machinery to new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sales targets and manage pipeline and collections.
• Prospect, qualify and generate new leads for various product lines.
• Contact prospective clients through calls and on‑site visits to present equipment.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Record all activities and updates in the CRM system.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and customer needs.
• Prepare and submit weekly performance reports.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

Required profile

• Minimum Matric (Grade 12); tertiary education is a plus.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the heavy‑equipment or related industry.
• Technical aptitude to understand machinery specifications and applications.
• Knowledge of construction, mining or agricultural equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Own reliable vehicle, laptop and mobile phone.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Understanding of heavy‑equipment specifications (e.g., mobile cranes, excavators, dump trucks).
• Ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
