Private Sector Engagement Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Private Sector Engagement Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role will drive private‑sector participation, business development, innovation and investment across African and European space ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate private‑sector engagement and commercial opportunities in the space, geospatial and technology sectors.
• Conduct market and value‑chain analyses to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide business support, matchmaking and commercialization assistance for companies, entrepreneurs and investors.
• Assist in accessing finance and fostering investment pipelines.
• Contribute to policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and institutional partnerships between Africa and the EU.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field (or four additional years of relevant experience).
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in private‑sector development, industrial cooperation, innovation, business development or investment facilitation.
• At least 4 years of experience engaging companies, entrepreneurs or investors, including market analysis, business support, matchmaking, commercialization and finance access.
• Experience in the space, geospatial or technology sector and familiarity with African markets is highly relevant.
