Pool Hostess

About the role

The Pool Hostess ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests using the hotel’s swimming pool facilities. Working in line with Hyatt standards, you will support smooth operations, respond to guest needs, and maintain high safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, provide towels, and attend to pool‑area requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the pool, furniture, and surrounding areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the pool area.
• Handle guest enquiries, report complaints, and advise on pool, spa, and gym services.
• Monitor pool usage, report damages or incidents, and ensure proper access control.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support fellow team members.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality, spa, recreation, or guest services is preferred.
• Ability to swim confidently and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically fit, able to stand for extended periods.
• Outgoing, self‑starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with a passion for service excellence.

Required skills

• First aid / lifesaving certification.
• Proficiency in pool safety and hygiene standards.
