Mental Health Advocacy Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated intern to support our mental health advocacy and outreach initiatives. This full‑time remote position will give you hands‑on experience in community engagement, event coordination, and educational content creation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing virtual and in‑person mental health awareness events.
• Support the creation and distribution of educational materials and social‑media posts.
• Collect and organize data for research and program reporting.
• Maintain records of client outreach and program participation.
• Help schedule meetings, draft internal reports, and liaise with partner organisations.

Required profile

• Strong interest in mental‑health advocacy, community outreach, and wellness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and collaborate remotely.
• Academic background or ongoing studies in psychology, social work, public health, communications, or related fields is a plus.
• Demonstrated empathy, ethical judgment, and respect for confidentiality.
