Management and Information Analyst

About the role

Our client in the fuel industry is seeking a Management and Information Analyst on a 6‑month contract. The role supports senior finance leadership by delivering insightful analysis on volume, margins, operating expenses and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Perform volume and margin analysis and produce business commentary on key drivers.
• Analyse operating expenses, manage cost control and collaborate with budget holders.
• Prepare working‑capital synopses and update figures in the planning system.
• Create business presentations using PowerPoint for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to strategic and operational business planning covering volume, margins, OPEX, CAPEX, working capital and leases.
• Collate and validate financial numbers from various business units.

Required profile

• Finance or accounting degree (or equivalent professional qualifications, completed or in progress).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work under minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and experience engaging with senior management.
• Business acumen, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good interpersonal skills for collaboration with business managers.
