Investment Analyst

About the role

The Investment Analyst will support ZB Asset Management’s investment decision‑making by conducting thorough research across multiple asset classes and delivering actionable insights to portfolio managers and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑depth research and analysis of equities, fixed income, real estate, alternative investments and other asset classes.
• Analyse financial statements, macro‑economic indicators, industry trends and market developments to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop market, economic and securities forecasts and produce investment insights.
• Evaluate investment ideas using financial modelling and valuation techniques such as DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, assess performance against benchmarks and prepare performance reports.
• Draft investment proposals, market commentary, analytical reports and presentations for investment committees and clients.
• Contribute to asset allocation and portfolio strategy aligned with risk‑return objectives and client mandates.
• Maintain databases, financial models and research tools, leveraging Bloomberg, Excel and Power BI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Investment Management or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in investment research, asset management or financial analysis.
• Progress toward or possession of a CFA designation is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments and portfolio management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing abilities with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Financial modelling and valuation (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Bloomberg.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
