ICT Infrastructure & Operations Manager

About the role

TestHiring is recruiting an ICT Infrastructure & Operations Manager based in Harare, Zimbabwe. The role leads networks, servers, storage, virtualisation, cloud and hybrid platforms, and oversees the ICT service desk and escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage capacity, performance, upgrades and technology refreshes
• Manage ISPs, WAN links, internet, telecommunications and voice services
• Monitor supplier SLAs, costs and service quality
• Oversee the ICT service desk and escalations
• Apply ITSM across incidents, problems, changes and service requests
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs and user experience
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery capabilities, define RTOs and RPOs, and support business continuity planning
• Enforce ICT standards, maintain documentation, support audits and align with ISO/IEC 27001
• Collaborate with Information Security on secure configuration

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering or a related field
• At least five years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience
• Multi-site operations, ITSM, lifecycle and vendor/ISP management experience
• FMCG, manufacturing, warehouse or OT exposure is advantageous
