IT Manager

About the role

The Hyatt Regency Harare is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead the hotel’s technology infrastructure. You will ensure that all systems and networks operate efficiently, securely, and support the hotel’s operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support all hotel information systems, including POS, inventory management, and cybersecurity tools.
• Maintain preventive maintenance, backup procedures, and data recovery for all hardware and software.
• Coordinate timely repairs, emergency procedures, and security measures to protect against unauthorized access.
• Provide technical assistance to internal and external audit teams and generate regular system reports.
• Recruit, train, and manage the IT team, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and local legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum three years of proven IT management experience, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, PMP, Microsoft or Cisco are desirable.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
