Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to lead the financial strategy and operations of a growing group of companies based in Harare. This senior leadership role will influence financial performance, strengthen controls, drive efficiencies and support strategic business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the group financial strategy and oversee financial operations
• Lead group consolidation, external audits, treasury, risk and compliance
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management
• Manage internal controls and financial policies across multiple countries
• Oversee ERP and financial systems integration, automation and real-time reporting
• Manage intercompany transactions and exchange‑rate policies
• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational efficiency
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior management
• Lead, mentor and develop finance and operations teams

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
• CA, CMA or CPA qualification advantageous
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in senior management
• Strong experience in group consolidation and financial reporting
• Experience with treasury, risk management, compliance and internal controls
• Strong analytical, strategic and problem‑solving abilities
• Experience in the technology or related industry advantageous
