Factoring Manager

About the role

CBZ Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Factoring Manager to lead its Factoring and Receivables Finance initiatives within the Corporate Banking Division. You will shape product strategy, drive technology adoption, and ensure robust risk management while delivering growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for Factoring and Receivables Finance.
• Recommend and deploy software solutions for Factoring products.
• Design a comprehensive suite of FinTech‑driven Factoring and Reverse Factoring offerings.
• Leverage emerging technologies to enhance product performance.
• Establish policies and procedures to strengthen operations and sustain growth.
• Monitor compliance with credit, risk, and international standards.
• Conduct portfolio reviews, track performance, delinquency trends, and concentration risk.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior management.
• Serve as the primary client interface for originating and managing Factoring relationships.
• Drive sales initiatives and product penetration in the market.
• Implement measures to maximize financial performance while safeguarding portfolio quality.
• Oversee credit assessments of suppliers and buyers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all discounting facilities.

Required profile

• Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Studies, Economics, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Science, Technology or related field.
• Professional qualification such as an IOBZ diploma or certification in digital payment systems (preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Corporate Banking, specifically Factoring, Receivables Finance, Trade Finance or Investment Banking.
• Demonstrated expertise in Factoring and Receivables Finance.
• Strong business development, data‑driven analysis and presentation abilities.
• Proven financial analysis competence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of ESG principles and their impact on client businesses.
