Cashier – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to join our Harare outlet. In this full-time, on-site position you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and pleasant ordering experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Handle cash, card and mobile payments, issue receipts and balance the cash drawer at shift start and end.
• Answer basic questions about the menu, promotions and prices.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely order preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized front counter and customer area.
• Follow cash-handling, health and safety procedures and support teammates during busy periods.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to handle cash and process various payment methods accurately.
• Strong customer-service attitude with clear communication and patience.
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer interfaces; quick learner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Basic numeracy, attention to detail and reliability in following procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior retail or hospitality experience is an advantage.
