Business Development Officer – Integrated Security Solutions

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive sustainable revenue growth for Fuzzy Electronics by acquiring new clients, building strategic partnerships, identifying tender opportunities and converting leads into profitable contracts across corporate, industrial, government and other sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop strategic relationships with decision‑makers and conduct market research.
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, prepare technical and commercial proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Identify tender opportunities, coordinate submissions, develop pricing strategies and maintain a tender tracking register.
• Build long‑term client relationships, conduct regular visits and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop partnerships with property developers, construction firms, architects, engineers, security companies, government institutions, NGOs, mining companies and telecom operators.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, generate leads and support digital marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Engineering, Information Technology, Security Management or a related field.
• Professional sales qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years proven business development or sales experience in a related sector.
