Branch Manager – Retail Banking

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Branch Manager to lead our Northridge Park location. You will partner closely with regional and branch leadership to execute strategy, strengthen team capability, and deliver a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce internal controls and implement cash‑management processes to mitigate loss and risk.
• Monitor staff compliance with operational and legislative requirements, conduct ad‑hoc checks and take corrective action when needed.
• Communicate sales and operational targets, track branch performance, and drive sustainable sales growth.
• Operationalise business strategies, sales campaigns and marketing initiatives to increase profitability.
• Manage expenses against budget, monitor General Ledger reports and improve month‑on‑month profitability.
• Track client feedback, ensure service standards, and retain customers.
• Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and reinforce a service‑focused culture.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities to enhance customer service delivery.

Required profile

• Business degree (IBOZ Diploma is an advantage).
• 3–5 years’ experience in retail banking operations management.
• Background in banking, sales, lending or distribution is desirable.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage performance metrics.
