Assistant Manager – Relationship Banking

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Relationship will support the Relationship Manager in the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of an allocated portfolio of business and commercial banking clients. Acting as the primary office‑based contact point, you will ensure seamless service delivery and help drive client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Relationship Manager with portfolio administration and client onboarding.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.
• Prepare credit motivations and support loan underwriting processes.
• Collaborate with branch sales and service teams to identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and flag any risk indicators.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in relationship banking, business or commercial banking.
• Previous experience managing a client portfolio and working in a branch sales or service role.
• Familiarity with credit preparation and lending principles.
