AI & Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

Apand Vision is seeking an AI & Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build the core technology behind its next‑generation intelligent solutions. You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and web/mobile development, creating products for the African market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI‑powered video analytics and smart security features.
• Develop backend services using Python, FastAPI, Node.js/Express and integrate with MongoDB.
• Build responsive web interfaces with React and mobile applications with React Native.
• Integrate CCTV/RTSP video streams, WebSockets/Socket.IO and Docker‑based deployment pipelines.
• Test, debug, and iterate on prototypes to deliver production‑ready solutions.

Required profile

• Hands‑on builder who can turn ideas into working products independently.
• Quick learner comfortable with new technologies and problem‑solving.
• Motivated to work in an early‑stage startup environment and collaborate closely with the founder.
