PR Sales Manager – Renewable Energy & Energy Storage

About the role

The PR Sales Manager will lead sales and business development for energy storage and solar module products across one of the assigned African markets (South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ghana, or Zimbabwe). You will build customer relationships, expand market presence and drive revenue growth for a global renewable‑energy company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for energy storage and solar module products in the assigned market.
• Identify new business opportunities, customers, distributors and strategic partners.
• Manage existing customer relationships and create long‑term commercial partnerships.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and implement business plans aligned with company strategy.
• Monitor customer feedback, payment status, market conditions and protect business interests.
• Conduct market research, track policies, regulations, competitor activity and industry trends.
• Provide market intelligence and recommendations to support regional growth.
• Plan and attend exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings and other business‑development events.
• Prepare regular sales, market‑development and customer activity reports for management.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve commercial or technical issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of overseas sales experience, including at least 2 years in energy storage, solar, photovoltaic or related renewable‑energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of market development and the energy‑storage industry.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships and achieve sales targets.
