Landscape Supervisor

About the role

The Landscape Supervisor will lead the daily landscaping and grounds‑maintenance activities for Rainbow Towers Hotel. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the hotel’s outdoor areas are attractive, safe, and well‑maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping, gardening and grounds‑maintenance tasks.
• Plan and monitor lawn mowing, edging, pruning, trimming, planting, watering and general garden upkeep.
• Maintain gardens, lawns, flower beds, trees, walkways and other external areas in a neat and attractive condition.
• Develop and implement seasonal planting and landscaping programmes.
• Oversee the use and maintenance of gardening tools, machinery and equipment.
• Monitor irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use.
• Identify and treat plant diseases, pests, weeds and other landscaping issues.
• Keep accurate records of activities, materials, equipment and maintenance needs.
• Control storage and use of fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides in line with safety standards.
• Allocate duties, monitor attendance and performance of landscaping staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of external areas, removing debris and litter.
• Assist in planning landscaping projects, renovations and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Horticulture, Landscaping, Agriculture, Garden Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in landscaping, horticulture or grounds maintenance, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care, pruning, planting and general horticultural practices.
