Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is looking for a Non-Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme. The specialist will ensure inclusive participation, gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities generated by the cooperation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years of experience designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes, including gender analysis and sex‑disaggregated indicators.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy and experience working in Africa are assets.

Required skills

• Excellent command of English.
• Working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese (considered an asset).
