Frontline Technical & Shop Assistant

About the role

Boforg Technologies is seeking a Frontline Technical & Shop Assistant to work in its Harare retail outlet. The role blends customer‑facing sales support with basic technical assistance, helping beginners understand and operate printing and business equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet walk‑in customers and respond promptly to WhatsApp enquiries.
• Explain product features, pricing, packages and related services.
• Demonstrate printing machines, heat presses, sublimation printers and other equipment.
• Assist customers with initial machine setup and basic operation.
• Support beginners during product training sessions.
• Prepare sales documents, quotations, invoices and process customer orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional shop environment.
• Follow company pricing, escalation procedures and standard operating guidelines.
• Handle stock, receive deliveries and support day‑to‑day shop operations.

Required profile

• Basic technical understanding with a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service orientation.
• Reliability, honesty, punctuality and the ability to follow structured instructions.
• Interest in learning how to operate and demonstrate various machines.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Proficiency in using WhatsApp and other digital communication tools for professional purposes.
