Front End Loader Operator

About the role

Valterra Platinum is seeking a Front End Loader Operator to join its mining operations in Shurugwi, Zimbabwe. The successful candidate will safely and efficiently operate front‑end loading equipment to load, transport, stockpile and move materials in support of production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate front‑end loaders and other mobile machinery in accordance with safety and operational procedures.
• Perform pre‑use checks and brake testing before each shift.
• Load, transport, stockpile and move materials to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment to required quality standards and report any issues.
• Adhere to company health, safety and environmental policies while on site.

Required profile

• Minimum three ‘O’ Level passes.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (or higher).
• Front‑End Loader Operator certification or licence.
• Ability to operate a mobile crane, excavator and dump truck is an advantage.

Required skills

• Front‑End Loader operation.

• Class 5 driver’s licence.
