About the role
The Country Partnerships & Technical Assistance Lead will act as mothers2mothers' primary representative in Zimbabwe, driving the implementation of the EKN HIV Instrument programme. Working closely with government, civil society and community networks, the role ensures effective, rights‑based HIV responses and supports localisation objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary mothers2mothers representative and focal point in Zimbabwe.
- Coordinate implementation of country workplans and project priorities aligned with the EKN HIV Instrument programme.
- Facilitate country‑level planning, implementation, monitoring and adaptive management processes.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with government ministries, departments, agencies and civil society organisations.
- Support integration of HIV, SRHR, GBV and MHPSS approaches and promote alignment with national priorities.
- Facilitate government engagement in project planning, implementation and learning activities.
- Identify and pursue strategic collaborations to enhance programme impact, visibility and sustainability.
Required profile
- Proven experience in leading and coordinating country‑level health programmes, preferably within HIV or related sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to work with government stakeholders, civil society and community‑led networks.
- Strong understanding of health system strengthening, technical assistance and partnership management.
