Chemistry Laboratory Technician – Zvishavane Campus

About the role

The Faculty of Engineering and Geosciences at Midlands State University is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Technician for its Zvishavane Campus. The successful candidate will support teaching, research and community engagement activities by managing laboratory operations and assisting students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out chemistry laboratory work, including sampling and testing using analytical equipment and instruments.
• Coordinate and supervise laboratory practical sessions and research projects.
• Assist students and academic staff with research activities and third‑stream income projects.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the department.

Required profile

• ND/HND or degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Experience in a laboratory environment is an advantage.
