Retail Sales & Operations Supervisor

About the role

Mukuru is seeking a Retail Sales & Operations Supervisor to lead frontline teams, expand the retail footprint and ensure exceptional customer experiences across its network of booths and branches. This role combines sales leadership, operational oversight and partnership development in the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Champion outstanding customer service standards and coach agents on product knowledge and service delivery.
• Generate and convert business opportunities, support agents to meet sales targets and coordinate activations, events and campaigns.
• Conduct audits, perform cash counts, ensure KYC and regulatory compliance, and manage operational budgets.
• Analyse market and operational data to identify expansion opportunities and build relationships with strategic retail partners.

Required profile

• Experience in retail operations, sales supervision, branch management or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of customer service principles and sales management.
• Proven ability to manage operational controls, audits and compliance processes.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities from data.
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, coaching and problem‑solving skills.
• Background in financial services, fintech, retail or FMCG is advantageous.
